OmniDocs

OmniDocs is an Enterprise Document Management (EDM) platform for creating, capturing, managing, delivering and archiving large volumes of documents and contents. Also integrates seamlessly with other enterprise applications.

OmniDocs handles Scanned Document Images, Electronic Documents, Emails and Electronic Data Output from other applications with equal efficiency and ease.

OmniDocs-Enterprise Content Management Solution
Document Scanning: OmniDocs supports centralized and distributed scanning in immediate and batch mode. It also supports policy based upload and Web-scanning.

Document Acquisition: It integrates tightly with MS-Office application through connectors so that documents can be directly archived from MS-Office applications into Provides file import services for bulk import of documents. It gets easily integrated with various standard FAX servers and supports HTTP and FTP based document upload. OmniDocs supports both online and offline document acquisition.

Email Archival: OmniDocs supports both server side and client side integration for email archival. Supports policy based archival of all the mails received or sent through a mail client to an OmniDocs repository or a folder scheduled for capture.

Document Archival: OD provides a central repository to archive high volume of documents that can be accessed and shared between multiple users, locations or the entire enterprise. Different document types and content are archived through rights based archival.

Document Management: It provides basic library services including check-in/check-out, subfoldering and versioning with multiple levels of access rights on documents and folder.

Document Processing: OmniDocs supports centralized indexing and post branch scanning along with Maker-Checker scenario for document processing.
 
Record Management: OD manages complete lifecycle of documents through for record retention, storage and retrieval policies. It supports managing and tracking of physical location of documents.

Enterprise Search: OmniDocs supports exhaustive document and folder searches on date, indexes and general parameters as well as full text search on image and electronic documents.
 
OmniDocs Publishing and Content Management: OD facilitates users to create, review & publish content over portals. It also provides rendering templates for publishing of content.
 
Knowledge Management and Collaboration: OD supports user to user document routing and tracking of documents, within or across workgroup. OmniDocs Knowledge Management component enables classification of an organization's knowledge base using a Knowledge Map and allows creation of Corporate and Individual Knowledge Repositories. It allows collaboration and knowledge sharing using multiple mechanisms such as Discussion Forums, Q&A's, Bulletin Boards, Chat, Message Boards, as well as facilitating user subscription for specific content access and notifications.
 
Enterprise Document Retrieval: OD exposes all standard features through web interface. Supports viewing image documents through an inbuilt Image Viewer Applet. Allows users to collaboratively edit and manage files using WebDav.
 
Image Enablement: It supports association & retrieval of documents via transactions with Core Business Systems. Integrates seamlessly with ERP, CRM, Core banking and Insurance applications. Provides XML and JAVA based API's for integration with third party applications and provides a framework to invoke standard SOAP based Web Services which can directly access Newgen Web Service API for accessing images.
 
Enterprise Security: OmniDocs provides enterprise-class security with powerful and configurable policies for password, access control and integrates with LDAP & Identity Management solutions.
 
OmniDocs Administration: OmniDocs supports user/group creation and role based administration. It supports for web-based administration, indexing, archival & purging services. It has comprehensive reporting facilities and provides various monitoring and diagnostic services for efficient administration. OmniDocs has highly configurable user Interfaces for tailoring GUI as per business need.
